About me

Get to know me better

Ing. Martin Mrázek, MSc.

My whole life I have been in an environment where overload is the norm – and where finding inner balance is not a luxury, but a necessity.

I have been a journalist, an entrepreneur, a co-owner of a startup, a leader of a global team of over a hundred people. I know the pressure of responsibility, the information overload, the emotional demands of leading people, and the constant need for strategic thinking. For many years I have been looking for ways to master these roles – how to work effectively and at the same time not fall apart under the weight of demands.

It was this experience that led me to deeper questions. How does overload work – mental, emotional, social? How to manage it without burning out or becoming numb? How to make decisions in an environment of constant pressure?

I started meditating, I underwent therapy training, and when the first clients started coming to me, I understood that helping people manage overload was my next path.

Today I work as a therapist and coach, combining biosynthetic psychotherapy, body and mind work, leadership experience and many years of meditation and personal practice. I help professionals, entrepreneurs, artists and creatives who are mostly thinking and deeply experiencing their work and life.

If you are looking for practical strategies and a deeper understanding of yourself, I would be happy to accompany you on this journey.

My style

How I work

Safety and relationship

I work intuitively and always tailor my approach to the individual. The key is relationship, respect for boundaries, and a safe environment where you can openly explore and grow.

Coaching style

I have experience as a journalist, entrepreneur, and manager – these are not professions that lead to patient passivity. So don’t expect just listening and accompanying.

✔ I look for concrete ways to solve problems.
✔ I encourage experimentation and action.
✔ I sometimes push the client if I feel a change is needed.

I’m not just looking for understanding – but for real change.

Own work outside of our meetings

I have good experience with the progress of clients who actively work on their topics outside of our meetings. That is why I often recommend:

✔ Practical exercises and meditation techniques.
✔ Tips for articles, books, podcasts.
Workshops and development events that can bring essential experience.

It is not just about theory – but about trying new approaches in practice.

Recommendation

What clients work with me most often?

Most often, people come to me who don’t just want to talk about change, but really want to make it happen.

  • They feel overwhelmed – in work, relationships, emotions.
  • They are looking for a way to gain more energy, peace and clarity.
  • They are ready for change – but they need support and direction.
  • They want to work actively, try new approaches, find ways.
My values

What do I care about?

Freedom, respect and equality are key values for me – in life and in my work with clients.

  • Equality and respect in relationships – regardless of gender, race, religion or sexual orientation.
  • Democracy and personal freedom – I value the principles of an open society.
  • Environmental protection – with reason and without extremes.
  • Raising children with respect – supporting the inclusion and development of children without physical punishment.
  • Evidence-based approach – I believe in scientific knowledge, but I am open to new perspectives.

I do not look for revolutions, but I believe in change through understanding, openness and an active approach to life.

Academic education

In high school, I was fascinated by the exact sciences. I started with chemistry, but then I came across the book “You’re Not Serious, Mr. Feynman” and fell in love with puzzles and physics. I discovered that I needed mathematics to understand physics, so I also became interested in calculus. When I was 15, my father died unexpectedly, and mathematics and physics became a refuge for me in post-traumatic states. I completely closed myself off. This eventually led me to study:

  • Statistics and econometrics at the University of Economics in Prague
  • Financial mathematics at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics of Charles University and the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam

After my studies, I devoted myself to these fields professionally for several years. I gradually moved into the world of software and built a successful business there. At that time, I had been meditating and attending psychotherapy for several years. The post-traumatic isolation gradually loosened and I became more and more open to working with people. I completed a five-year psychotherapeutic training in biosynthesis and an even more theoretical two-year training. I started working with my first clients and eventually moved fully into psychotherapy, coaching and working with people, which is fulfilling and meaningful to me.

I want to arrange a meeting.
